Forget Elle ‘The Bod’ Macpherson – her pet Labradoodle Bella is stealing the limelight, having landed a contract as the world’s fi rst celebrity dog model. Bella’s being paid a fi ve-fi gure sum to appear as the new face of designer canine-accessory brand Dogside.com. “Fashion icons are frequently used as the faces of brands but this is the fi rst time a fashionable dog has been signed to front a national advertising campaign,” said Dogside’s Flora Page. “We’re delighted to have Bella on board and are certain she’ll be able to turn the heads of the UK’s eight million dogs.” Bella’s already done her fi rst shoot, with top fashion photographer Simon Songhurst, who’s snapped the likes of Helena Christensen. Next up for Bella… the catwalk, surely?!
