Younger and older men differ sexually

Younger and older men differ sexually

Sex surveys may tend to focus on difference between men and women, but according to new research, they should be looking within the genders as well.

Erick Janssen, associate scientist at the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction at Indiana University, who recently conducted such as study, has said that sex researchers do not give as much attention to "the differences that exist among men and women".

Her latest poll revealed that younger men found sexually experienced women intimidating, while older men found it a turn-on.

"We have a lot of assumptions about how men think and feel and behave sexually," said Janssen.

"One of the main conclusions of the focus group study is that, just like women, men are different."

Janssen added that researchers tended to use questionnaires and surveys to ask about male sexual behaviour.

"It's less common to sit down with men and ask them to talk about their experiences."
