Greece is home to some of the world's horniest inhabitants, according to bonking boffins across the pond.

The sexperts at US lifestyle mag The Improper had a sneak peak at the outcome of the latest sex survey by condom king Durex.

Greeks apparently get down and dirty up to 138 times a year, while the rest of the globe make do with an average 103 annual nookie sessions.

The average worldwide age for losing one's virginity is a scientific 17.3 if the poll is to believed, although no account was taken of bravado and/or downright embarrassment about when respondents really popped their cherries.

"More than half of all adults surveyed said they felt their sex lives left something to be desired, and men are the least satisfied with how often they have sex," continued the publication, to the surprise of few.

In a revealing insight into the wide array of favourite frolics worldwide, the results of the upcoming saucy survey suggested that the most common place for adults to get down outside the boudoir is in their car, followed by toilets (public or otherwise remains unclear at this stage) and parents' bedrooms.
