One in three Taiwanese women have said they are planning to speak to their husbands about the lack of fireworks in the bedroom.

According to new research from the Taiwan Women's Health Association, nearly 50 per cent of the 400 women surveyed said they failed to reach orgasm and faked it instead, so as not to hurt their partners' egos.

Despite their efforts to protect their husbands' feelings, 30 per cent also said they had had enough of faking it and are planning to bring the subject up with their partners.

Commenting on how men can make their ladies happier in the bedroom, Cheng Cheng-chieh, a gynaecologist at the Taipei Medical University Hospital, told reporters: "There should be more communication, caring and foreplay. If these have been tried but the intercourse is still not satisfactory, couples should seek professional help."

The sexperts at Ireland's Hot Press recently advised it is best to wait until a women is very aroused before trying to find the elusive G-spot, as it can be "tricky to locate and doesn't always respond to stimulation".
