The relationship between Sex and the City fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker and her hubby is rumoured to be in trouble.

According to reports, the star's 11-year marriage to Matthew 'Ferris Bueller' Broderick has been rocked by claims of his affair with a 25-year-old youth worker.

Star magazine maintains the actor began dating the anonymous lady while 43-year-old Sarah was filming this year's big-screen smash between November and February.

"There will be no comment," was all Matthew's people would tell the mag - no denial there mind.

A Manhattan bar is the alleged scene of the first indiscretion, with supposed subsequent sightings of the dad-of-one heading to his brunette lover's apartment with wine and flowers.

If the rumour mill's to be believed, 46-year-old Matthew confided in his consort that his relationship with his wife was "not good".

Sarah's made no secret of the fact that her marriage has never been a smooth ride.

"We've had some rather treacherous train rides," she said during an April interview.

"I'm happy to be with him regardless but I'm sure there are many times he wishes he wasn't with me."
