You will agree, this week's been pretty good for global sex stats.

We've heard how Kiwis love sex, how Aussies want better sex and now it seems the populace of Chicago, that iconic jazzy city is a big, big fan of open-air passion.

A recent poll by Time Out magazine has revealed that 64 per cent admit to having partaken in a plein-air romp or few. And it sounds like the frisky lot are very good at sneaking about, with only five per cent saying that they had been sprung by the old bill (think they call them cops there!).

But why? Is it the thrill of the great outdoors? The autumnal chill? Or even the chance of being caught by a stranger?

"Doing it in public happens a lot more often when you don't have your own place," the magazine reported one pollster as revealing.

So its all about convenience is it? Pull the other one!
