So says one expert across the pond, who emphasised that if a couple's brains aren't stimulated in a relationship, then their groins will switch off as well.

Dr Yvonne Kristin Fulbright also pointed out to Fox News that "having a healthy, well-balanced diet can affect blood vessels and blood supply to the pelvis and penis", meaning food is as important as fun toys when it comes to keeping the love alive.

"Another way to maintain adequate blood flow to the pelvic region is to stay physically active," she continued, noting that a good diet and regular exercise together keep blood flowing to those all-important nether regions.

"Fatigue plays into one's sex drive, often overriding any desire to get down 'n' dirty - make sure you are getting enough sleep," the dishy doc concluded.
