Police in Sarajevo have been forced to set up a special stationing as a result of a recent spate of accidents involving overly passionate lovers in the cars.

A rise in the number of amorous couples dislodging their handbrakes and rolling down a hill above the capital city and into the Miljacka River has prompted the local bill to keep a closer eye on the location.

Local bobbies are now on permanent patrol on top of a hill in order to prevent any further mishaps, reports Ananova.com.

The most recent accident involved two 22-year-olds, Risto Bocic and Sonja Pasic, whose vehicles rolled down the 30ft slope into the river after their hot and heavy embraces upset the brake.

Fortunately, a passer-by spotted the pair, who were naked, and pulled them to safety.

We imagine the incident was a little embarrassing for all concerned?!
