The woman who claims to have come between Adnan Ghalib and Britney Spears has claimed pap "pitied her".

Amanda Pagel, a 21-year-old model, told Look magazine that Adnan had told her that the pair could go public about their relationship once Britney was "back on her own two feet".

"He told me he 'pitied' her and was the only one she trusted," she told the magazine.

"He kept saying: As soon as she's better and back on her own two feet doing her own thing, we can go public."

However, their secret affair was uncovered when Britney found some loving messages from Amanda on Adnan's phone.

"I used to send him texts saying 'I miss your kiss' and coupley stuff like that."

Amanda added that she had "freaked out and called him immediately" when she found out that the 26-year-old had seen them.
