According to the ever spinning celebrity rumour-mill, Kelly Osbourne is off to the slammer.

What's she done wrong you may wonder? Don't fear, she won't have to share a cell with Lindsay Lohan - she's off to the West End.

Kelly's name will be up in lights when she makes her musical debut in Chicago as death row matron Mama Morton in the hit show.

A source told the Sun: "The word on the street is that Kelly is going to play Mama Morton in Chicago from September. She's been practising like mad."

The big mama is notorious for her dodgy dealings in the prison and slipping illicit items to the prisoners - sounds like Kelly will be perfect in the mischievous role.

Only thing is - remembering Kelly's rather a short-lived singing career we think it may have involved an ickle bit of studio 're-touching'?

Will Ms Osbourne really be able to warble out those hits night after night? Dubious!
