George Michael might not have any children of his own, but he has assured us that he is responsible for the production of plenty of babies.

How could this be, you may ask? Through the power of music, the singer has said.

The 44-year-old Brit has been making music since he was one half of the successful Wham! duo in the eighties.

And he's been putting couples in the mood ever since with his dulcet tones, so reckons George himself.

"For a gay man I must be responsible for a lot of conception," he said, reports the Sun.

He can currently be seen starring, quite literally, alongside Jonny Lee Miller in US series Eli Stone.

George appears in the surreal programme as himself in a scene where Eli (Miller) hallucinates that the singer is performing a rendition of Faith live in his bedroom - he is getting hot and heavy with his fiance at the time.
