Sexy mamas in Canada were treated to a burlesque bash at the weekend, set up in homage to the domestic deities' greatness.

Marking the country's annual Mother's Day, the saucily titled Milf Show was described by organisers as "intentionally cheeky".

They gleefully explained to Toronto Star reporters that 'Milf' is the tasty term commonly used by "teenage boys and gossip bloggers" to describe "a mum I'd like to [blank]".

"If your mother's cool, bring her. If your mother's maybe a little bit more on the frumpy side, I'm not sure that this would be a good show for her. It's a little risque," continued Adrianna LeBlanc, one member of burlesque troupe Skin Tight Outta Sight.

"We're being slightly naughty with our title this time. Because it's just before Mother's Day, we wanted to look at domestic goddesses," she added.

As burlesque makes its way steadily into the mainstream, a host of celebs and civilians alike have lined up to showcase their erotic dancing ability.

Friends of Posh Spice Mrs Beckham recently revealed that she is the latest saucepot to look out her leathers ahead of a Las Vegas stint on stage with foxy girl group the Pussycat Dolls.
