Have you ever felt extremely grumpy, not been able to concentrate and as a result had a really bad day at work?

If so, the reason could be that you're not satisfied in the bedroom department.

That seems to be the case for a group of Australian coal miners, who have received lessons on "exploring their wives" in a bid to give their sex lives a much needed boost and consequently improve production at work.

Covering topics such as foreplay, the lessons for the chaps at the Bulga mine near Sydney were intended to inform them as to why their middle-aged wives might not feel like getting down and dirty while going through the menopause.

A manager told the Sydney Morning Herald that it was in the mine's interest to provide the classes because a miner who is missing out on some hot loving at home "can get mighty grumpy at work".

It appears that the lessons were a big hit, as flyers were "snapped up" afterwards and the men were all "extremely attentive".

Looks like its going to get rather steamy down under then!
