Gillian McKeith and the world of fetish aren't usually that well associated, but it looks like the feisty food guru is certainly embracing her dominatrix image.

The 48-year-old has posed for the launch of her new eating guide, The Complete A-Z Guide to a Healthy Life, in a tight PVC catsuit and high heels, topping off the look with a bondage-style whip.

Notorious for giving unhealthy eaters a sharp word or plenty, the guru said that she enjoyed her new look.

She told Closer magazine: "I feel so naughty dressed up with my whip in my hand.

"I immediately felt so in control - and I do love whipping people into shape!"

Gillian went on to lament that the saucy get-up suited her stern personality.

"It's like playing a role. But let's face it, it's a role that fits me because I'm seen as controlling and bossy."
