Former X-files star David Duchovny isn't afraid of aliens - it's on-screen sex with his wife that really creeps him out.

The star has said that husband and wife acting teams that get steamy on screen give him the heebie-jeebies, and he would never even consider romping with his other-half actress, Tea Leoni, in a movie.

"I can't imagine what would be worse than watching people that actually have sex have sex on camera," he revealed.

"I can't imagine a creepier thing. So I wouldn't want to inflict that on you, and I wouldn't want to inflict it upon my relationship either.

"I think Tea's just a terrific actress, and if I wasn't married to her, I would want to work with her all the time."

You may be on to something there David. The notable hash attempts at couples re-creating on screen passion (Eyes Wide Shut, Gigi, Mr And Mrs Smith) suggest the only camera watching you're bedroom antics should be your own!
