The art of the burlesque isn't just about getting your kit off - it's really all about "sexual power", according to Dita Von Teese.

The pristine performer has said that some women might view her naked capers as "anti-feminist", but in fact, her art is all about female sexual emancipation.

She told the Daily Mail: "A lot of people think that what I do is anti-feminist.

"But most of my fans are women and my whole thing has been about finding sexual power rather than abusing it."

And her perfectly manicured look? Well, that's all about getting her own way too.

"I just think that when you take a minute to look your best, you get what you want. And I pretty much get what I want."
