A horny investment banker across the pond is inviting like-minded males to "come to mama" with his new self-made love potion.

Minister's son John C Layfield took his cue from Dominican culture by concocting the so-called 'liquid Viagra' from a mixture of tree bark, herbs and rum.

"Show me an 18-year-old guy who doesn't want to be a sexual tyrannosaurus," he remarked to the New York Times by way of explanation for his Mamajuana Energy inspiration.

He went on to point out with pride that the marketing slogan for the brew (pronounced mama-ja-wana) is "Come to Mama" (yes, really).

Flogged to his mates at a couple of quid per two-ounce pop, the berry-flavoured beverage is deemed by the sexpert to be an all-natural "sexual endurance drink" for blokes.

Sort of like your average energy drink, except it makes you randy ("It's more of a sex potion"), he concluded.

While Mr Layfield continues to hawk his wares around America's retail outlets, we reckon we'll stick to more tried and tested (and better-tasting, no doubt) aphrodisiacs.
