Brunettes beat blondes in relationship stakes

Wonders will never cease. How tired were you of hearing the phrase 'Gentlemen prefer blondes'?

Now it turns out that this not only isn't true, but that today's modern man is in fact turned off by golden haired lovelies because they fear that they are not committed enough - yes, it does sound unbelievable!

This was the conclusion of a poll conducted by Nuts magazine who found that the age-old rumour that blondes had more fun made fellas paranoid that they wouldn't be faithful and pushed them into thinking that brunettes were more "trustworthy".

"Blondes may have a reputation for having more fun, but that's no good if their hair colour actually puts men off," said Nuts deputy editor Hans Seeberg.

"Men are less likely to get involved in a serious relationship if they think there's a chance the girl might be having too much fun while their backs are turned."

Lame if you ask us!
