It's official - size zero is a big looser with Brits, especially our fellas, and 69 per cent say they way prefer a curvy girlfriend to a slim one.

A new survey on the nation's tastes in totty has revealed that the fuller figured femme tops the UK's lust list every time.

Charlotte Church is the hottest bit of stuff in the British Isles, winning 20 per cent of the blokes' vote, followed by screen siren Marilyn Monroe. Curvaceous Chelsea Davy and Sophia Loren were also in the strumpet list.

It seems Britain also loves a bit of leg, and the shapelier the better. Almost a third of blokes (28 per cent) voted for shapely legs as their favourite part of a woman's body, with bums in second place and boobs in third.

The survey, commissioned by Slimfast, quizzed over 2,000 British men and women about their bodies and those of their partners, with one in five ladies confirming that they were a size 14 to 16.

"These results simply confirm what we knew all along, that Brits have always loved their curves and the curves of others," said Jenni Trent-Hughes Slimfast female psychology expert.
