Billie Piper is the hottest lady on the box, according to a new poll.

The British actress, who wowed audiences this autumn with her raunchy role in Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, is the highest ranking female in a chart conducted by Broadcast magazine, reports the Daily Star.

The show pulled in 1.8 million viewers in its debut episode, the biggest audience ratings for the channel since it began in 1998. The episode scored higher audience numbers than programmes showing at the same time on BBC Two, Channel 4 and Five.

"This was a chance to be shockingly sexy," she told the Mirror at the time.

She also revealed that the part had given her a new addiction - saucy underwear.

"I loved the underwear in the show and now I am buying it for myself in real life," she told the Sun.
